MP opens new hotel – for bugs!

Bury North MP James Frith opened a new hotel last week, but its guests will be the flying and crawling variety.

James opened the bug hotel for the TWIGS Tottington Wildlife Watch group on The Lines in Tottington with his family. TWIGS is a group for local children and families which runs a variety of activities to increase awareness of wildlife.

James said:

“When Graham at TWIGS asked me to open a hotel this wasn’t quite what I had in mind! But it was a real pleasure to support the group and launch their new bug hotel. The group does great work educating local children about wildlife and giving them a space to get their hands dirty. My family really enjoyed visiting and we’ll be back for future events!”
