MP encourages local community groups to bid for cash

The Aviva Community Fund is now open for applications and Bury North MP James Frith wants local community groups to bid for the cash.

The Aviva Community Fund awards funding of up to £25,000 for local community projects across a range of categories such as skills for life, health & wellbeing and community support. Last year over 450 groups received funds to deliver vital projects in their communities.

James said:

“We have hundreds of fantastic charities and community groups in Bury, Tottington and Ramsbottom, engaging thousands of people in innovative and important work with very few resources. I hope many local groups will bid for this cash.”
